Reasons to Plant

Innovation in the church

Bringing children to Christ and bringing Christ into families.

...speak the gospel to people in language that they understand.

What would it take to make your church more welcoming to males?

Remembering who you are, and what you are called to, is an important factor in maintaining unity.

Christ is Christ, he is the light, and thousands of our youth are turning to him and committing themselves to bringing the light to our world.

A pastor must be worthy of his church, but a church must also be worthy of its pastor.

We can present Christ to Canada with even more energy.

...an unexpected benefit to me of working with children is to see again the faith that I must now aspire to...

...to plant 74 new churches across Canada by the year 2012

...how is society changing today, and what does that mean for your church?

Summer can be a great opportunity for growth in every way. May every day of this summer be a day when your child experiences the Son in a new and meaningful way.

As a congregation, decide to take yet another step in your collective commitment

...we all need to include some part of our life that is quite simply raw involvement with people in their place, their interests, and sometimes their pain

I believe God is preparing this generation of youth for an amazing work.

Our youth are serving as an example.

A mature church will be self-governing, self-financing and self-propagating.

Let's each make a commitment to be part of a small group.

Christian higher education is necessary.

Contentment says, "So what?"

A healthy church is successful in serving the bread of life to hungry people.

Think of church growth in terms of our redemptive influence on our community.

Investing in the spiritual lives of little ones.

God is using churches to transform Canada and the world.

Think of the church as a family.

Today in the Alliance we have leaders who need you to come alongside, not grudgingly, but with a smile.

As you look around your church and see folks now quite elderly, consider the legacy that they have bequeathed to you in the Lord.

A church needs to plough prayer into the community.

Whatever size church you are in, don't be satisfied with its size.

Church growth is part of who we are as a family.
