Christian Perspective
This once majority Catholic nation has made a sharp turn towards atheism. People try to fill the spiritual vacuum in their lives with occult practices, secularism, materialism, foreign cults, drugs, and gambling. The Evangelical Church has experienced slow, steady growth, though there is still a strong need for outreach. There has been a breakthrough with the Roma (Gypsy) population. |
