Christian Perspective

This shell-shocked nation has survived two decades of Communist dictatorship, a failing democracy, and a civil war. The country is politically unstable and physically devastated. Spiritually there is a lot of ground to be recovered. Many church leaders were forced to leave or were martyred.

Praise Points:

  • The JESUS film has been viewed throughout the nation and is being produced in 8 more languages with 4 further ones being researched

Prayer Points:

  • A need for revival. Church leadership and a Godly government are desperately needed
  • Bible translation has been a struggle
  • Many of the central and northern areas have been unreached by the Gospel
