Franklin and Gay Pyles

On July 4, 2008 Assembly delegates from Alliance churches across Canada re-elected Dr. Franklin Pyles as President of The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. This is his third term in office.
He leads the denomination’s 400 plus churches as well as its global missions efforts around the world. Winning lost souls in Canada and around the world is the passion of his heart.

Franklin Pyles is a theologian, church planter, professor and pastor. Before becoming President, he served 14 years as Senior Pastor at The Alliance Church in Owen Sound, Ontario. Prior to Owen Sound he taught at Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina, Saskatchewan. He has also worked as a church planter in urban Chicago for seven years and served as pastor of Urban University Church in Detroit.

He and his wife Gay now live in the Greater Toronto Area. They have five children: Christopher, Natasha, Timothy; their daughter Anna and son James have finished their race.
