Christian Perspective

The Netherlands is a nation that is rejecting its rich heritage of Christianity. Secularism runs rampant, and the people have taken a New Age openness to morality. The young people have become disinterested in the church, while others are caught up in irrelevant theological discussions rather than pursuing a heart after Christ.

Praise Points:

  • Dutch missions are gaining new interest and workers
  • A history of standing firm for Christ

Prayer Points:

  • The openness of the people to issues like homosexuality, abortion, euthanasia, prostitution, drugs, and deviant lifestyles
  • Pray for revival of the church and outreach to the wealthy people and immigrants
