City Heights Church
Dartmouth NS
Broken Families. This church of 200 averages 40-50 young people from the community, in part due to the church?s outreach programme. Most of the youth come from broken or dysfunctional families. Counseling is a major part of this compassion ministry, making the church a place of refuge with after-school programmes, Bible studies, games nights, and the like. The concept is to provide most of these youth?most are of no church background and some have identified themselves as either pagan or Satanist?a place where they feel cared about.
