First Nations Alliance Churches of Canada
 
The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada has a strong commitment to ministry among our First Nations Alliance Churches of Canada (FNACC) that dates back nearly 30 years. At the present time there are seven First Nations churches. The Board of Directors for the C&MA in Canada and First Nations elders are committed to nurturing a meaningful relationship with each other.
 
Larry Wilson serves our Alliance family as director of First Nations Ministries. Please see his bio below.

Larry Wilson, a Cree Indian from Winnipeg, Manitoba, has been pastoring the First Nations Community Church since 1988, for the total of 16 years. Larry was born on the Peguis Indian Reserve in Manitoba. After his conversion at age 16 he moved to Winnipeg. He attended Briercrest Bible College at age 21 and received a Bachelor’s Degree with a Pastoral Major. Larry is currently working on his Masters of Divinity Degree at Providence Theological Seminary. Larry has had a varied background of ministry in Aboriginal, Caucasian, East Indian, and African cultures. Larry and his wife Joyce have two children, Jamie (age 17) and Bethany (age 15). Larry is a board member of Promise Keepers Canada and a member of the Aboriginal Council for the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada as well as the Director of the First Nations Alliance Churches of Canada.
