The first Filipino Alliance church in Canada was started in 1984 in the City of Edmonton . Now we have 15 Filipino congregations. The Filipino International Network, initiated out of Edmonton by Alliance Filipinos and carried forward internationally through a consortium of people and agencies, personifies missions of the Diaspora. Missionaries of the Diaspora represent a welcome chapter to third millennium missions, and Canadian Filipinos are at the vanguard of this movement.
