Students

Enrollment: over 380 students in the student body.

Range: grades P-12

Boarding Program: 51 students live in boarding homes. Only missionary children are allowed to live in the boarding homes.

Student Makeup: 79% of the students are missionary kids.

 
 
Staff
 
Background: All of the staff are professing Christians who incorporate their faith with their teaching. They are required to have a bachelor’s degree or higher and be fully certified. 42 members of the staff were trained in North America and approximately 55% have advanced degrees.
 
 
 

 
Location

Country: Malaysia

Penang: An island just off the west coast of Malaysia.

Location: Dalat International School is located on the island of Penang. The island, known for its numerous beaches, is connected to the mainland by the longest bridge in Southeast Asia. The school is between two hotels and faces the ocean. It is divided into two campuses (upper and lower).

Buildings: There are numerous buildings set on both upper and lower campuses. These include classrooms, a cafeteria, dorms, a guesthouse, recreational courts, a library, and more.
