District Goals
Creating an environment for a sustainable….missional….church….movement
-
Encouraging an evangelistic environment where local churches provide hope and health to the unchurched in their parish, as missionary-minded believers engage in ministries of kindness and compassion to the marginalized and least-reached.
-
Encouraging a missionary environment where local churches, led by senior pastors with on-site experience of missions, strategically partner with specific Alliance mission fields, using short term missions as a primary recruitment tool for world-wide evangelism and church planting.
-
Encouraging a multiplication environment where we say “yes” to churches and church planters in the birth of new churches, supported by new and increased funding and motivated by multiplication-minded leaders.
-
Encouraging a leadership environment where development of church boards and pastoral leaders is seen as a life-long commitment to learning new skills and soul formation.
-
Encouraging a caring environment where every pastor/leader would have a plan for a resilient life and sustainable pace in life and ministry.
Prayer Priorities
- That we would be empowered by the Spirit to be a family of churches.
- That we would be empowered by the Spirit to be a family of churches engaged in a missional movement.
