National Church Education Ministries has embraced a mission statement to be actively involved in God?s plan of making healthy disciples at every age level (children/youth/adults) by encouraging and resourcing district and church leaders who are involved in church education ministries. Making disciples is our resolve.

The national children?s, youth and adult committees are committed to this statement as they serve Alliance churches across Canada. They will do this by resourcing our churches and by providing important networking opportunities for other disciple makers.

It is recognized that some Church Education Ministries (CEM) are the function of the district. District church education ministries and programs may differ from district to district but in all cases they provide ministries for all age levels that are tailored to the needs represented in each district.

The National Church Education Committee (NCEC) is appointed by the Board of Directors and reports as required. It is responsible for providing leadership and coordination to all national church education programs. The NCEC serves as a leadership team of age-level specialists. There is a national children's committee, a national youth committee and a national adult committee as well as district children, youth and adult committees.

"The purpose of the National Children?s Networking Team of the National Church Education Committee is to affirm and promote the importance and value of reaching and discipling children, and to inspire local Christian and Missionary Alliance churches to enhance the quality of their ministries to children.
This purpose will be accomplished by utilizing communication tools, resource information and personnel, as well as assisting the networking of individuals involved in children?s ministries.?

Children matter to us and we are committed to their protection. Plan to Protect is a resource manual of The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. It was designed to assist local church leaders in developing clear abuse prevention policies and procedures that will help protect our children, our youth, our volunteers and our churches. We have recently published the 2007 version.
For Alliance churches in Canada, Plan to Protect can be purchased through the National Ministry Centre. Please click here to order a copy. Everyone else, visit Winning Kids Inc. to order copies of Plan to Protect.
