The first Chinese Alliance church in all of North America
was started nearly 50 years ago in Regina, Saskatchewan. Since then, Chinese
churches in Canada have experienced spectacular growth. Today The Christian and
Missionary Alliance has nearly 90 Chinese churches in Canada with a Sunday
morning attendance of over 20,000. Chinese churches are strong and vibrant.
They are also missionary. Many Chinese missionaries serve around the world both
as missionaries to the Chinese Diaspora as well as cross-culturally. Chinese
churches now consistently give more than two million dollars annually to the
Global Advance Fund.
