Christian Perspective

Due to years of war the life expectancy in the 95% Buddhist nation has dropped by half. However, there has been spiritual growth. The church which began with only 2,000 Christians in 1980 has grown to 100,000 today.

Praise Points:

  • That there is an open door to the Gospel
  • Rapid growth of indigenous church planting ministries and multiplication of already existing churches

Prayer Points:

  • Lifting of the spiritual darkness
  • Continued growth and freedom to worship for the Cambodian church
  • That mature Christian leadership would rise up and that the physical needs of the nation will be met by the hands of Christian workers/missions
